Caking Jamming for Kids  (LEVEL: BEGINNER)

 

In this workshop the kids will use a pre-covered fondant cake as a canvas and let their creativity take over. We will provide different cutters, food coloring, edible paint, colorful frosting, sprinkles and all necessary tools for the kids to work with. With the mini chefs’ endless imagination and our expert guidance, they will create their very own masterpiece!

Monday February 18         2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Wednesday March 13       3:30 pm – 5:00 pm

(Private classes available for groups of 3 or more, you can choose your own date and time.)

Price: $68 + HST per person

(Please arrive 15 minutes before the class)

Age Group: 6-12
What to wear: comfortable, non-slip shoes

We will cover:

  • How to design a cake
  • Piping basics (includes learning how to use piping bags and tips)
  • Working with fondants 
  • Using cutters to create different shapes and patterns
  • Working with food coloring and edible paint

We will provide:

  • All equipment and tools
  • Apron
  • Drinks


You will take home:

  • A 5” beautifully decorated cake

  • Payments made for workshops are non-refundable
  • A store credit will only be provided for cancellations if we are notified via email at least 1 week in advance of the workshop
  • A scheduled workshop will only take place if the minimum number of participants are met
  • If a scheduled workshop is cancelled, we will notify you at least 3 days in advance. A full refund will be provided in the event that a workshop is cancelled
